Pakistan Meteorological Department Predicts Partly Cloudy Weather for Islamabad on Tuesday

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasts partly cloudy weather in Islamabad on Tuesday. The Met Office reports that continental air prevails over most of the country, and a westerly wave is expected to approach the upper regions on Wednesday, where it will linger.

As for the Islamabad temperature today, the mercury reached 26°C at noon, with an expected nighttime drop to 15 degrees. Humidity levels were around 50 percent, and winds blew at a speed of 4km/h. The maximum UV Index was recorded at 4, indicating a moderate level, with visibility extending to about 3km.

In the Islamabad Rain Update, PMD anticipates rain-thunderstorms in the city on Thursday. However, for Tuesday, dry and cloudy weather is expected.

The air quality in the federal capital was measured at 141, classified as Unhealthy. This can lead to immediate health effects for sensitive groups, while healthy individuals may experience difficulties in breathing and throat irritation with prolonged exposure. Experts recommend limiting outdoor activities.
