Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has slashed ticket prices by 25% for passengers traveling from Paris to Pakistan, a move aimed at boosting demand on its Europe-bound network.
The limited-time promotion also extends to connecting flights via Air France from various European cities and the UK. Tickets must be booked by August 31, 2025, with discounted travel available between August 25 and September 28, 2025.
Lahore–Paris Flights Axed After Low Demand
The discount announcement comes as PIA adjusts its European operations. The carrier will discontinue its Lahore-to-Paris service, citing underwhelming passenger numbers. The last two flights on this route are scheduled for September 12 and 17.
While Lahore will lose its direct Paris link, PIA confirmed that Islamabad–Paris flights will continue as normal, maintaining the airline’s connection between Pakistan and France.
A Strategic Shift in Europe
PIA had launched twice-weekly Lahore–Paris flights in June 2025, but the response failed to meet expectations. The airline says trimming routes is part of a broader strategy to allocate resources more efficiently while safeguarding access to key international hubs.
The fare discount appears designed to stimulate demand during this transitional period, potentially cushioning the impact of service cuts on European routes.
